Double sided tissue hot melt
Backed by Jiangsu Gelly Adhesive Material Technology Co., Ltd and our 30 years of adhesive expertise, our Double Sided Tissue Hot Melt Tape is engineered for applications requiring instant, aggressive bonding and environmental safety. Coated with a premium synthetic rubber (hot melt) adhesive on a flexible non-woven tissue carrier, this tape delivers exceptionally high initial tack, allowing it to "bite" into porous, rough, and difficult surfaces instantly. Being 100% solid and solvent-free, it emits no VOCs or harmful odors, making it the ultimate eco-friendly choice for mailing, paper converting, crafts, and indoor lightweight mounting.
Aggressive Initial Tack: The hot melt synthetic rubber formulation provides instant grab, eliminating the need to hold materials in place while the adhesive sets, significantly speeding up assembly lines.
100% Solvent-Free & Eco-Friendly: Contains no liquid solvents or water, meaning zero VOC emissions, no drying time, and no unpleasant odors. It is completely safe for use in enclosed spaces, schools, and food-adjacent packaging.
Excellent Low-Temperature Performance: Unlike water-based adhesives that freeze and fail in the cold, hot melt adhesives remain flexible and maintain strong adhesion in sub-zero and refrigerated environments.
Superior Bonding on Rough Surfaces: The high-flow nature of the hot melt adhesive allows it to penetrate the fibers of corrugated cardboard, kraft paper, and textured surfaces, creating a mechanical lock that standard acrylics struggle to achieve.
Hand-Tearable & Conformable: The 14g non-woven tissue carrier ensures the tape easily conforms to curves and can be cleanly torn by hand in any direction without scissors.
Envelopes & Mailing: The industry standard for high-speed automated envelope sealing and mailing bag closures due to its instant grab.
Paper Converting & Splicing: Web splicing in printing presses, securing corrugated box flaps, and bundling paper products.
Crafts, DIY & Stationery: Ideal for scrapbooking, photo mounting, card making, and household repairs where a strong, odorless, and safe adhesive is required.
Lightweight Mounting: Bonding posters, nameplates, and lightweight displays to painted walls, wood, or textured plastics in indoor environments.

Our AdvantagesOur Advantages
A Strong and Established Tape Manufacturer

Hot Melt (Synthetic Rubber): Offers the highest initial tack (instant grab), excellent adhesion to rough/porous surfaces, and is 100% eco-friendly/solvent-free. However, it has lower temperature resistance (max 60°C). Water-Based (Acrylic): Eco-friendly, low odor, good for general indoor use and paper crafts, but requires longer dwell time to achieve full strength. Solvent-Based: Offers the most aggressive permanent bond, high temperature, and weather/UV resistance, but contains chemical solvents.
No. Hot melt adhesives soften and lose their structural integrity at temperatures above 60°C and degrade when exposed to direct UV sunlight. For outdoor applications, high-temperature environments, or structural bonding, we highly recommend using our Solvent-Based or 100% Solid Acrylic double-sided tape series.
No. Because hot melt adhesive is a 100% solid formulation that is applied in a molten state without the use of liquid chemical solvents or water, it emits virtually zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). It is virtually odorless and completely safe for use in enclosed spaces, schools, and food-adjacent packaging environments.
Absolutely. We utilize high-precision rotary and flatbed die-cutting equipment. We can supply your hot melt tissue tape in custom 2D shapes, continuous rolls with specific spacing, and extended liner tabs, perfectly tailored for high-speed automated envelope sealing and packaging machines.
