DOUBLE SIDED TISSUE TAPE 100MIC SOLVENT BASED
● Feature: Strong adhesion, high temprature resistance, weather resistance, good durability, water proof
Backed by Jiangsu Gelly Adhesive Material Technology Co., Ltd and our 30 years of adhesive expertise, our 100 Micron Double Sided Tissue Tape (Solvent-Based Series) is a heavy-duty, high-performance bonding solution. Featuring a 14g non-woven tissue carrier coated on both sides with an aggressive solvent-based acrylic adhesive, this 100μm thick tape provides exceptional gap-filling capabilities for rough and irregular surfaces. Unlike standard water-based tapes, the solvent-based formulation delivers superior initial tack, outstanding weather/UV resistance, and reliable performance across a wider temperature range, making it the ultimate choice for demanding industrial, automotive, and outdoor mounting applications.
Aggressive Solvent-Based Adhesion: The solvent-based acrylic glue "bites" deeply into porous, textured, and low surface energy (LSE) substrates, providing a much stronger and more permanent bond than water-based alternatives.
100μm Gap-Filling Thickness: The optimized 100-micron total thickness (approx. 30μm tissue + 70μm adhesive) allows the tape to conform to and fill microscopic gaps on rough surfaces like corrugated cardboard, textured plastics, and painted metals.
Superior Weather & UV Resistance: Highly resistant to moisture, humidity, UV radiation, and aging, ensuring the bond remains intact in outdoor environments and harsh weather conditions without yellowing or drying out.
Excellent Temperature Resilience: Maintains stable adhesion and structural integrity across a broad temperature range (up to 80°C long-term), outperforming standard water-based tapes that fail in heat.
Hand-Tearable & Conformable: The flexible non-woven tissue carrier easily conforms to curves and can be cleanly torn by hand in any direction, improving assembly line efficiency.
Nameplates & Signage: Permanent mounting of metal, plastic, and acrylic nameplates, logos, and outdoor signs to slightly textured or powder-coated surfaces.
Automotive Interior & Trim: Bonding interior panels, acoustic dampening foams, and decorative trims where high temperature and humidity resistance are required.
Heavy-Duty Paper & Carton Splicing: High-strength web splicing in printing presses and securing heavy corrugated box flaps during transit.
Electronics & Appliance Assembly: Mounting components, wire harnesses, and membrane switches that require a strong, reliable, and solvent-resistant bond.

Our AdvantagesOur Advantages
A Strong and Established Tape Manufacturer

Water-based tape is eco-friendly and great for light indoor paper crafts, but it struggles with moisture, heat, and rough surfaces. Our 100μm Solvent-Based tape uses an aggressive acrylic formulation that provides significantly higher initial tack, superior holding power, and excellent resistance to UV, moisture, and high temperatures (up to 80°C long-term). It is the mandatory choice for outdoor signage, automotive trim, and bonding to textured or powder-coated surfaces.
Yes, in the realm of tissue tapes, 100μm (0.1mm) is considered a heavy-duty, high-tack thickness (standard economy tapes are often 80μm). The extra 20μm of adhesive volume allows the tape to "wet out" and fill microscopic gaps on rough, uneven, or textured surfaces (like corrugated cardboard or textured plastics), ensuring 100% contact area and a much stronger mechanical bond.
During the manufacturing process, solvents are used to carry the adhesive. However, our advanced coating ovens ensure that >99% of the solvents are evaporated and recovered during production. The finished tape has a very mild, characteristic odor that dissipates quickly once unrolled and applied. It is completely safe for industrial use and complies with RoHS and REACH standards.
Absolutely. We utilize high-precision die-cutting and kiss-cutting equipment. We can supply your 100μm solvent tissue tape in custom 2D shapes, gaskets, or continuous rolls with specific spacing and extended release liner tabs, perfectly tailored for your automated assembly lines.
