Yes. Standard economy packaging tapes are typically 35μm to 45μm thick. Our 62μm series (38μm premium BOPP film + 24μm thick adhesive layer) is classified as heavy-duty. It provides exceptional tensile strength and puncture resistance, making it ideal for securing heavy, oversized, or double-walled export cartons.
The aggressive adhesive is designed to bite into corrugated fibers to prevent the tape from popping open during transit. While it provides a permanent, secure seal, it will tear the top layer of the cardboard upon removal (which is the desired "tamper-evident" security feature for shipping cartons). It will not leave liquid sticky residue on the product inside.
