Double sided pet tape
● Feature: Strong adhesion, high temprature resistance, weather resistance, good durability, water proof
Backed by Jiangsu Gelly Adhesive Material Technology Co., Ltd and our 30 years of adhesive expertise, our 120 Micron Double Sided PET Tape (Solvent-Based Series) is a heavy-duty, high-performance bonding solution. Featuring a dimensionally stable 25μm PET (Polyester) film carrier coated with an extra-thick layer of aggressive solvent-based acrylic adhesive, this 120μm tape delivers exceptional tensile strength and superior gap-filling capabilities. The increased adhesive volume allows it to conform to slightly rough and irregular surfaces, making it the ultimate choice for demanding applications involving iron, plastics, nameplates, and soft magnets.
Extra-Thick Adhesive Layer (95μm): The optimized 120-micron total profile provides a massive volume of adhesive that physically flows into and bridges microscopic voids on textured plastics and rough metal surfaces, ensuring 100% contact area.
Ultra-High Peel Strength: Delivers an exceptional peel adhesion of 20.0 N/25mm, providing the raw holding power required for heavy-duty structural mounting and securing dense materials like soft magnets and thick nameplates.
Exceptional Dimensional Stability: The 25μm PET film carrier provides zero-stretch handling, ensuring tight tolerances and preventing web-breaks during high-speed precision die-cutting and kiss-cutting operations.
High Temperature & Solvent Resistance: Withstands continuous temperatures up to 120°C and resists degradation from mild solvents, chemicals, and plasticizers, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments.
Consistent Release Liner: Backed by high-quality 100g white release paper that provides smooth, consistent unwinding and prevents the tape from splitting during automated dispensing.
Nameplates & Signage: Permanent bonding of metal and plastic nameplates, logos, and signs to slightly textured or powder-coated surfaces.
Soft Magnets & Stationery: Ideal for mounting flexible magnetic strips, rubber products, and heavy-duty stationery where high initial tack and permanent holding power are required.
Paper Converting & Splicing: High-strength web splicing in printing presses and securing heavy paper bags and corrugated materials.
Electronics & Component Fixing: Securing internal components, gaskets, and hard materials within electronic enclosures, benefiting from the tape's electrical insulation properties.

Our AdvantagesOur Advantages
A Strong and Established Tape Manufacturer

The primary advantage of the 120μm heavy-duty profile is its superior gap-filling capability and higher peel strength (20 N/25mm). The extra adhesive volume (95μm of glue) allows the tape to physically flow into and bridge microscopic voids on slightly rough, textured, or irregular surfaces (like soft magnets, textured plastics, or unpolished metals). This ensures 100% contact area and creates a much stronger mechanical bond than thinner tapes, which would only touch the "peaks" of a rough surface.
The total thickness of the tape (excluding the release liner) is exactly 120 microns (0.12mm). This is achieved by using a 25-micron (0.025mm) high-tensile PET film substrate, coated on both sides with a combined 95-micron (0.095mm) layer of solvent-based acrylic adhesive. This specific ratio provides the perfect balance of dimensional stability and heavy-duty gap-filling adhesion.
Yes. Soft magnets and flexible rubber/plastic materials often have slightly uneven surfaces and require a high-tack adhesive to grab instantly. The extra-thick solvent-based adhesive on our 120μm PET tape provides aggressive initial tack and permanent holding power, ensuring the flexible material remains securely bonded to iron or plastic substrates without peeling at the edges.
Absolutely. Because the 25μm PET film carrier is dimensionally stable, it is the perfect material for precision kiss-cutting and die-cutting. We can supply your 120μm tape in custom 2D shapes, gaskets, or continuous rolls with specific spacing and extended release liner tabs (fingers), making it incredibly easy for operators to peel and apply the parts on your automated assembly line.
