Steel tape wrapping machines ----  mainly for cable protection and shielding

    The production line consists of pay off rack,taping machine,caterpillar traction, sparker tester and take up rack.

Here is a production line in our customer factory. It consists of portal type pay off machine, steel tape taping machine, cable belt caterpillar and portal type take up machine.

    The taping device consist of hysteresis type controller, synchronous belt wheel and release tape disc, the tension on the touch screen to set, to change hysteresis type controller through PLC control current, so as to change belt disk tension, equipped with ultrasonic sensors in side of the spool, used to  inspect the thickness of spool, when the spool thickness changes, the sensor send a signal to PLC and PLC send a signal to control hysteresis type controller current to change tension, make the taping tension takes spool changes synchronous change, guarantee tension constant release.

      The whole line is controlled by touch screen and PLC, drive taping, traction and take-up/payoff synchronous work, the whole line of production speed is controlled by frequency speed regulation controller. The taping lay can be direct input through touch screen, the PLC to calculate and synchronous whole line linkage.

      The application of the product of this machine:

1. For cable protection, it is required to have corrosion resistance, mechanical stress resistance and reasonable thickness.

2. The electrical shielding function requires the steel for the cable to have a certain electromagnetic shielding effect. Therefore, the steel strip for the single-core cable is applied as a demagnetized stainless steel belt or an aluminum alloy belt armor.

3. The power system grounding effect, therefore requires the cable steel belt wrapped continuously and completely, there should be no open circuit
